About Us
Our founder and lead combatives instructor of AWC, Randy Rozzell, is a retired Navy SEAL with 22 years of military experience. He has been involved in multiple combat deployments and received extensive training. In 2012, Randy was named SEAL Team Seven, NSWG-1, and Naval Special Warfare Command SEAL/Sailor of the Year. He retired as the leading chief/course and program manager for the Naval Special Warfare Combatives program. He developed a new six-week long combatives Instructor Course that never existed before in Naval Special Warfare and is the pinnacle of what SEALs learn today in combatives. Randy now teaches military units, SWAT teams, law enforcement agencies, border patrol, and civilians during his days off from his job as a firefighter.
